4x Innovations is a growing manufacturing and online retail business specializing in add on vehicle parts for Toyota based off road vehicles. 4x Innovations manufactures and sells a wide range of parts, including bumpers, roll cages, doors, and more directly to consumers. Our customer base is primarily located throughout the US, but does include some international customers as well. 4x Innovations has had continual growth over our 10 year history and is adding a full time fabricator to our team.

 

Fabricator 2 Description

This position will be responsible for fabricating products from raw stock to final assembly according to job instruction sheets and blue prints in a timely manner with precision and quality.  All aspects of metal fabrication will be used in this position including saw cutting, drilling, bending of sheet and tube, fitting and final assembly.  This position will also be responsible for some welding of finished goods, but that is not the main job function.


A successful candidate should have formal training or a minimum of 3 years experience as a metal fabricator. You should have a working knowledge of most aspects of metals fabrication.  Experience as a welder, operating a tubing bender, press brake or welding robot are a benefit. The ability to learn new tasks and operations is a must.

Job Duties

  • Fabricate products from raw materials to completion

o   Ensure the safe operation of shop equipment including automated machinery

o   Follow written and verbal job instructions to fabricate products

o   Ensure quality standards are meet throughout the fabrication process

o   Responsible for saw cutting, bending operations, fitment and welding

o   Weld steel using GMAW welding process

  • Assist in inventory management

o   Notify management of low inventory levels as indicated by tracking cards

  •  Maintains a safe and clean work environment

o   Ensures all tools and necessary equipment is maintained and stored appropriately

o   Clean work area regularly

  • Assist in preparing and packing daily shipments
  • Other Tasks as assigned

 

Preferred Experience

  • Associates degree in related field, OR a minimum of 3 years experience in a related role
