4x Innovations has developed a new Swing Out Tire Carrier system that solves many problems seen on other types of carriers.
Main cross arm is 60 inches long, plus the hinge barrel. Longer lengths available as a WIY kit from

Industry's strongest hinge pivot mounted in double shear with high grade 5/16 steel support bracket
Supported by tapered roller bearings used on 1000 pound trailer axles, total rated load is 1250ft.lbs (IE 500lbs at 2.5ft from the hinge)
Massive 3/4 inch grade 8 pivot bolt
Stainless steel inner bearing sleeve to prevent corrosion
Spring loaded pin locks the hinge pivot open at 90 and 115 degrees
Spring pin rides on stainless steel skid pad, no scratches in the paint or corrosion
High strength latch uses 1" solid steel round bar catch pin and high grade steel components
Vibration proof design encloses around over 3/4 of latch pin
Spring pin locks latch closed and open
Nylon washer in latch components for wear resistance
UHMW skid pad for smooth, wear resistant closure
Tire mounts with factory Toyota size lug nuts, 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern
Built standard to hold up to 36" tire with 6 7/16" inches from WMS to sidewall surface of tire
Optional Accessory Hoop Only option - only pick this option if you want the rectangular hoop only
. The hoop is automatically included with the Hi-Lift tabs, Camp Table, Jerry Can Mount or Rotopax Mount options

Side accessory compatibility:
Single Jerry Can Mount can be combined with the Propane Tank Mount, can not be combined with a Rotopax Mount
Double Jerry Can Mount can not be combined with either the RotoPax or Propane Tank Mount.
Rotopax Mount can not be combined with either Jerry Can Mount or the Propane Tank Mount.
The universal tire mounting plate has the following lug mounting patterns:
5 x 4.5" uses 3 studs
5 x 5" uses 3 studs
5 x 5.5" uses 3 studs
6 x 6" uses 3 studs
8 x 6.5" uses 4 studs
8 x 170mm uses 4 studs
*This listing is for a tire carrier kit that is the tire carrier assembled and welded except the latch end plate (hinge barrel is tac welded to the main cross arm). When installing this kit you will need to provide sufficient mounting points for the hinge and latch catch stud. To finish out the carrier you will need to determine if the main tube being centered on the hinge pivot tube works for your application or if it needs to be offset, and then weld the main barrel. You'll also need to cut the main tube to length that is required for your application, weld the latch end plate to the end of the carrier.
If you order this product listing with a rear bumper, your tire carrier will NOT be assembled onto the bumper. You must order the tire carrier as a part of your bumper options on the bumper product page for the tire carrier to be fully assembled and aligned onto your bumper.
