Description
The stock Voron Trident 2020 frame isn't as stiff as it could be. This steel frame brace or gusset set bolts to the outside of the stock Trident frame on 2 sides and the back to significantly stiffen it. Each side is 4 pieces and bolts to the frame using the same bolts that are used to mount the stock panel clips (longer bolts will be needed, length depends on how thick your panels and panel foam are). The top rear brace is designed to accommodate the stock rear upper vent hole. The frame braces are laser cut from 3mm (1/8 inch) thick steel and come bare steel so they will need to be painted the color of your choice to protect them from rusting.
Each of the sides use a shim between the frame and the frame brace for clearance to the gantry. Below are the shim files for each size.
Trident 250 x 250 Shim, print 8 of this file and place it between the frame and the frame brace.
Trident 300 x 250 Shim, print 8 of this file and place it between the frame and the frame brace.
Trident 300 x 300 Shim, print 8 of this file and place it between the frame and the frame brace.
Trident 350 x 250 Shim, print 8 of this file and place it between the frame and the frame brace.
