This is a weld it yourself kit of parts and pieces.
NO PARTS OF THIS KIT COME ASSEMBLED OR WELDED TOGETHER.
4x Innovations has developed a new Swing Out Tire Carrier system that solves many problems seen on other types of carriers.
Main cross arm is up to 75 inches long, plus the hinge barrel.
Industry's strongest hinge pivot mounted in double shear with high grade 5/16 steel support bracket
Supported by tapered roller bearings used on 1000 pound trailer axles, total rated load is 1250ft.lbs (IE 500lbs at 2.5ft from the hinge)
Massive 3/4 inch grade 8 pivot bolt
Stainless steel inner bearing sleeve to prevent corrosion
Spring loaded pin locks the hinge pivot open at 90 and 115 degrees
Spring pin rides on stainless steel skid pad, no scratches in the paint or corrosion
High strength latch uses 1" solid steel round bar catch pin and high grade steel components
Vibration proof design encloses around over 3/4 of latch pin
Spring pin locks latch closed and open
Nylon washer in latch components for wear resistance
UHMW skid pad for smooth, wear resistant closure
Choose between tire mounts with factory Toyota size lug nuts, 6 x 5.5 bolt pattern, or Universal Tire Mounting Plate (pattern info below).
Built standard to hold up to 36" tire with 6 7/16" inches from WMS to sidewall surface of tire.
Optional 2" receiver mount on swing arm for receiver hitch mounted bicycle racks.
Optional license plate mount with license plate lights to mount license plate to main swing arm.
Optional license plate mount with plate lights and custom 4.5" lug studs to mount license plate in the center of spare tire.
Ships bare steel.

Tire Carrier accessory compatibility:
Single Jerry Can Mount can be combined with the Propane Tank Mounts, can not be combined with a Rotopax Mounts or Double Jerry Can Mount
Double Jerry Can Mount can not be combined with the Single Jerry Can Mount, RotoPax Mount or Propane Tank Mounts.
Rotopax Mount can not be combined with either Single or Dual Jerry Can Mount or the Propane Tank Mounts.
The camp table, HiLift mounts and 2" Bike Rack mount are compatible together in any combination. They are also compatible with all combinations of the above items.
The universal tire mounting plate has the following lug mounting patterns:
5 x 4.5" uses 3 studs
5 x 5" uses 3 studs
5 x 5.5" uses 3 studs
6 x 6" uses 3 studs
8 x 6.5" uses 4 studs
8 x 170mm uses 4 studs
*This listing is for a tire carrier kit that is the parts to build a tire carrier assembly. No parts come preassembled or welded. When installing this kit you will need to provide sufficient mounting points for the hinge and latch catch stud.
If you order this product listing with a rear bumper, your tire carrier will NOT be assembled or installed onto the bumper. You must order the tire carrier as a part of your bumper options on the bumper product page for the tire carrier to be fully assembled and aligned onto your bumper.
